Say what??
How can on-line students possibly work together, or collaborate, on an
assignment?
Great question!
This semester we are going to write a story, but the instead of one author, this story will have MANY authors--ALL OF YOU!
I (your teacher) will provide the prompt, and you (the students) will each write your own different parts of the same story.
The goal is to have one complete story by the end of the semester with
every student in the course contributing his/her original work to the story.
We will use this weebly blog page to
construct our story.
Pretty cool, right?
Ground rules:
1) Minimum of 10 sentences for your first (and required) post
2) Maximum of 20 sentences for your first (and required) post
3) Spelling and grammar DO COUNT
4) Keep it school appropriate
5) PLEASE NOTE: I have this blog set to have comments approved BEFORE they appear--which means that I have to approve them. SOMETIMES--I'm not on-line (crazy, I know) so please refrain from submitting a post after 4 pm on the weekdays and please avoid the weekends all together.
6) Read the story and follow the story line, including characters, setting, action and dialogue.
7) Please remember to take a screen shot of your post and save it. You will be required to submit your screen shot in a drop box at the end of the course.
8) Enjoy!
The given prompt is posted in the next blog post.
