Temporal Transitions
As the definition above suggests, temporal transitions have to do with time and bring your reader through to the end of the story. Temporal transitions are used when you have a change in setting, change in action, or change in the character's emotions or thoughts.
Some examples for you:
Meanwhile, we all went to the store without him.
First of all, I was not even anywhere near them.
We all went to the park while Abby and Shoua simultaneously went to the mall.
We were all in the park, and then, all of a sudden, a bear jumped out!
Before I knew it, I was hiding in a tree.

Dialogue
