The Victory
This lesson has quite a few slides, but the main thing to do is the portfolio. This whole lesson is letting you gather information about the human rights issue in your novel before you start writing your paper.
You will need to answer these four questions (and that is it) for the portfolio. Your answers should all be in complete sentences.:
1. In the novel, who suffers due to the human rights issue.
Your answers should all be in complete sentences. Example for this one: In Of Mice and Men, ____________ suffers due to the human rights issue of ________________.
2. What does the wording in my quotations imply? (Find and write out three quotes that show where this human rights issue is addressed in your novel. Then explain how these quotes are showing more information about the human rights issue. Write about what is happening in these quotes. Make sure every quote is followed by a page number.
3. When this issue becomes most important in the novel, what happens?
4. How is this issue resolved? Or is it?
